 Wow, I can't believe it is June already. School is out, and my summer is now in full swing with lots of concerts and visits with friends lined up- I am so excited!

Happy Digital Scrapbooking Day 2020! I'm sure I will spend it shopping and downloading lots of goodies, instead of grading papers like I should be doing lol!

June's A Love for Layout Templates Train

I flip-flop between thinking, "I can't believe it is June already," and, "Isn't 2020 OVER yet?!" Ending the school year doing remote teaching and being on my computer for hours on end every day was not conducive to creativity. Eye strain, back aches, neck pain... I found it so hard to get on the computer during down time and design. 

I finally managed to figure things out (creating a "standing desk" out of a box on my kitchen counter helped immensely), the weather is taking a warmer turn, and I got back into a creative groove. 

So many people commented they liked the trellis design in my last template that I've decided to make a series of them for the year. Here is the second installment!

A Love For Layout Templates April Blog Train

This month, we have 23- yes, 23!!- amazing designers participating in this train, and I am so excited to download and work with all their awesome templates. I hope mine is "first-in-line worthy!

I just got back from a trip to Kauai over spring break- we rarely go anywhere extravagant on vacation, but it was our 20th wedding anniversary. So I had Hawai'i on my mind when I designed my template for this month.


Since, of course, I have hundreds of photos from the trip to scrapbook, I thought I'd get started with some using the template and a kit of mine on Etsy, Just Beachy.


And here is another take on it, using The Urban Fairy's new kit, Timeless, available at Digital Scrapbooking Studio.
